Think Twice Before Trying Loan Modification PDF Print E-mail
Friday, 08 January 2010 12:22

Last month we lost a nice family in building one due to their desire to secure a lower interest rate after a series of equity draws.  The family made great money but secured a high interest rate loan.  Though people should accept what they sign for and stop belly-aching over such, it turns out that trying to do a Loan Modification is a gamble.  You see, they intentionally were behind in their mortgage to qualify for loan modification (a stupid rule in this writer's opinion) and when they were denied the loan mod, the bank trustee REFUSED to let them pay what they were behind in.  Then the bank snatched up the property and has it on the market.

So the new game in town is to snatch up homes that HAVE EQUITY in them and refuse to let families live in them if a loan mod falls through (and the family can pay the default).

Parking is limited within our community. It is required by the association legal documents (CC&R) to utilize your garage for parking. Due to increased complaints, we are stepping up parking patrol to address and help enforcement of our parking policy and fines, subject to $200 for each violation.

Please ensure that you are utilizing your garage spaces to park your vehicles to allow for guest parking for those visiting the community. Commercial vehicles of residents must be parked in garages at all times.

All vehicles parked along the front street entrance of Terra Bella must park their vehicles parallel to the curb.
